Christine
Qian - Renewable Energy Manager and Business Consultant
Christine provides strategic advice on business processes, prepares
and executes marketing plans, represents clients to government,
and manages the development of global distribution channels. Christine
has international business management experience having worked in
China and Canada. Recently, she has gained expertise in new product
commercialization and is now focused on the development of markets
for small and medium sized firms within the renewable energy and
environmental protection industries. Christine is a Masters of Business
Administration (MBA) graduate from the University of Ottawa.
James consults on renewable energy strategy issues, supply
chain management, finance and marketing. James has had a lifelong
interest in renewable energy and environmental protection and has
worked on a number of projects in both a University setting and
the private sector where he has helped to develop renewable energy
and environmental technology business strategies. His current passion
is the development of a prototype portable renewable energy system
for use in emergency operations. James is a qualified project manager
who holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification,
he has a Government of Canada level two security clearance and is
bilingual in English and French.
Catherine is a Communications specialist and freelance writer.
She has worked on provincial and federal level projects and has
written for newspapers, magazines, e-zines and journals for over
a decade. She has a passion for beautiful words, and equally abhors
wasted words in the form of poor grammar, incorrect syntax and ambiguous
phrasings. She has a BA (Hons) in Communications from Simon Fraser
University and an MA (1st Class) in International Relations from
the University of Leeds.
Frédéric is an associate consultant of CEI who is
primarily focused on solar energy projects and studies. He is a
renewable energy expert and teaches solar and wind energy project
assessment courses using tools such as RETScreen®. Mr. Pouyot
owns a company specialized in renewable energy projects, GPEKS Constructions
Inc., has experience with renewable energy technical and economic
analysis, and is a certified project management professional.
Mr. Rick Corradini is an associate consultant of CEI who specializes
in wind power projects. Rick is also the owner of Sou’wester
Exploration and Technology, a company located in Nova Scotia, Canada.
He has extensive expertise in the wind power exploration industry
and has planned and managed numerous wind power feasibility studies
and wind monitoring tower installations for municipalities and other
organization.
Cathy Zhang is a Web Development Consultant for CEI. In this role
she provides website strategic planning, design and technical support
services to business and government clients. Cathy is an experienced
software designer with extensive web development, software design
and network planning experience in Canada, the United States and
China. In addition she specializes in PowerPoint template design
and Intranet planning. Cathy has a keen ability to combine IT solutions
with management fundamentals when problem solving client issues.
She has a Masters Degree in Computer Science and currently is undertaking
MBA studies at the University of Ottawa.
